Car show season

Lots of shows going on in the summer, the Mooneyes show in irwindale was hot and crowded! but lots of fun- got a chance to host my buddy deek from Tulare CA who brought down his great looking bike. At camp cavalier the beer was flowing, good times with all my pals for sure.

Another step closer to paint

I spent the last week putting the car together to make sure everything was fitted properly before paint. And sure enough had to drill some new holes for the trim, easy enough to deal with now- bummer if it was discovered after paint! Planning on driving the car in primer for a week or so and make sure the body work doesnt do anything weird. Then I will tear it down again and sand on the car a little more.

All one color!

A milestone of sorts was reached this weekend on the 41 project. Not the final color yet but having it in primer helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Beatnik Show

For me, being born and raised in socal, I sometimes take for granted the beauty of this place. Saturday we drove up and down PCH for the beatnik show. Awesome weather- took a couple pics of what I think is one of the great drives in socal. These are in malibu.
